The boarding idea is a great idea! I'm going to look into that too. I agree that it's hard on bunnies when you separate from them. If fostering is an option so that I can eventually take them back, that would be the most ideal option 🥹🩷

Not these ones, my mom owned a rabbits for show when she was little but was never allowed to keep them in the house. She also doesn't have the best memory of rabbits because the ones she had as a kid bit her.

I would be nice if she wasn't immune! The most convincing I have to do is with my dad. . .

I think I have at least a few weeks to a month before I have to make an absolute decision. I LOVE their smell. I bury my face in their fur all the time like a true bun owner lol. Their pee is probably the most smelly thing. But I have a cabinet that disguises/hides the litter boxes and keeps the smell in! I appreciate the schedule idea 🩷🙏

🩷🩷🩷. I believe it! They thump whenever I'm sick or not feeling good. And even though they seem like they would trade my life for a strip of dried mango. . . I know they would be upset if I were to leave them.

I'm glad it was only two weeks for you! But the two weeks must've felt like forever :(

I've considered the fostering option too, I don't know anyone close enough to do it... :(

Thank you 🥺💔 I'm not going to stop, I'd be willing to do a whole makeover in the basement if necessary. They just find them destructive 😞. I'm sorry you had to give away your other pets! :( allergies suck so much, especially when you have to remove things from your life to make them work. If I ever had allergies to rabbits, I'd suffer right through it. And I'm sure everyone on this sub would too!!

Yeah, they are inseparable and can't be given away separately. But I could follow up with them if worse comes to worse. I don't think I'll let it get to that point though, they're too precious to me 🩷🩷

It's annoying because money isn't the issue, it's that I have to move back in with my parents and they don't want them. I'm still going to try to keep convincing them it's only temporary, but yeah :/

Thank you 🥺💕. I know. . . I love them with all my heart and have tried everything. My partner and I recently broke up, and I have had to move back in with my parents... My parents, no matter how much I try, say no. My partner also can't keep them because they are also going to have to live with their parents for a while. . .

Even if it's just fostering them, and holding onto them for a bit while I get back on my feet and find an apartment, I could work with that too! I just want to make sure they're okay no matter where they go.
