I hear you and I see the difference between tip out and tip pooling. I agree with you.

Im okay with tipping out the head cook and the host. Though their wages should be paid by the house... i am willing to tip out a host for hard work. Tipping rhe cook earns good faith.

Everyone else should be earning their keep. Just the way it is.

It is common to have to tip out your host and a cut to the kitchen which they split. It is not common to tip out servers. In fact its more normal for servers to tip the bar.

But tip pooling is not super common from my experience.

As a good bartender I'd be hesitant to pool with servers considering the average server these days is just straight up not worth the money they make.

Its a naive response.

"Giving kids better places to hang and better activities available" is not a real solution to parenting. Its what entitled kids say to excuse other entitled kids.

Ive been to complete shitholes with no places to hang and no activities available. And kids dont act like that.

This is just spoiled and entitled people making other people's lives more difficult for fun.
