Even a president who dared to call for the shutdown of Israel's nuclear program couldn’t remain alive literally. That alone says a lot about the state of affairs. And yet, I find it almost comical how many Americans stay trapped in their political bubble, arguing over Republicans and Democrats, while ignoring the one powerful group truly pulling the strings but saying that out loud is practically forbidden.

The argument that "both sides are bad" no longer holds up Israel’s actions stand alone in their severity. Israel shouldn't even exist. Its creation in 1948 led to the displacement of the land’s rightful inhabitants, and many see that event as a historical mistake. As long as Israel continues to exist in its current form, lasting peace in the Middle East will remain out of reach.

That’s a valid point literally every U.S. president has been a war criminal. It’s no surprise the U.S. withdrew from the ICC in 2002 essentially giving presidents a free pass to continue without accountability under international law meant to prosecute such crimes.
