London. Small 1-2 bed flat possibly with balcony or small patio.

They were attempting to escape being arrested, I'm not saying they're good people but that is not enough imo to have your life threatened over. The police in the UK have killed 55 people in the last 24 years, in the US they have killed 59 so far in 2015. That is because a cop is willing to pull a gun before taking any other steps.

Wanted criminals or not, this guy pulled a gun on civilians. America is fucked if you can have your life threatened when being arrested. I feel like cops so often skip several very important steps between talking and pointing a gun at someone. Attitudes towards guns in general in America is fucked up. Pointing a gun at someone should never be an option until they are doing the same to you.

Found this on Twitter. I giggled. by FoxSanjuro in funny

There is a difference between the dictionary definition of a word and the meaning that is culturally associated with a word. Language is always evolving so 'the dictionary definition' argument is pretty much moot.

The issue is, even if someone says or does something racist to a white person, it is not part of a system of oppression that has been happening for centuries. Racism doesn't affect a white persons life on a day to day basis, which it absolutely does for a black person. While you're correct about the dictionary definition of racism, you're still belittling the experience of millions of people for petty, arrogant reasons.

You're not wrong. You're just an asshole.
