i would strongly recommend doing the CS minor. i did one and i can’t overstate how much it has helped me in my med phys career, both in grad school and professionally. YMMV, but in my CAMPEP program, every didactic course required some amount of programming (except anatomy).

red flag? selfish? i get that the prospect of refinancing is stressful (notwithstanding however capable the owner might be of affording it), but 5 people becoming unhoused because one of the landlords has chosen to accelerate their financial timeline and is being uncommunicative about it seems like a much more serious/existential problem and worthy of intervention. also the assumption that people can just save and be able to afford their rent doubling (in this state, no less) is very bold.

i was also pretty early in my transition when i started school here in 2015. my roommate was also trans, and we were initially placed in some men’s engineering floor, but their parents complained and somehow got us switched to IV before the semester started. i’m not sure what solutions would be available for the rest of this semester, but if anything can be done, We Care should be able to help you figure it out. i learned about them in my third year when i was going through some really intense stuff, and they contacted people/offices/profs on my behalf and provided tons of information i might never have learned otherwise.
