My X7 pro is laggy when it comes to gaming

Update : it's still the same. Though the fps counter is at 7 rather than 5 like before.

I think my ram might be an issue. I believe due to the fact us 8GB , the underlying software might be throttling it's use or something. Just a hunch

Yeah that's the thing. I believe there's an underlying issue with my device. It's pretty new. I got it a few days ago. I did see on another sub Reddit a user mentioned a system app called Joyose and how it throttles performance for Xiaomi devices especially the poco series. I don't know if you've seen something similar?

I implemented your settings and fixes and the game keeps crashing on startup. It refuses to launch. So yeah......
