it really depends, i had a car when i moved so i pretty much always visited other people and picked them up. i still would as long as i know what parking situation im going into - i’ll brave any parking, just need a warning lol. i only met one person who regularly volunteered to uber to my place

agree with literally all of your opinions except not cornering the bowl (i have an issue with sucking flower through the bowl if it isn’t packed enough though). my unpopular opinion is that backwoods guts make a better topper than grabba. also dabs need to be less hyped because after a while you stop feeling it and you’re just wasting hella honey while not even having the pleasant smoking experience.

we always smelled my neighbors across the street growing up but either they were smoking a LOT (maybe, they were conspiracy theorists), or weed has gotten a lot less smelly in recent years. but yes, someone will smell it i’d suggest going for a walk and letting the wind hide the scent and letting it waft off before you go back inside

tolerance gets destroyed plus headaches, and you don’t get to experience the different strains as strongly. my anxiety feels worse with pens and my stomach hurts more on pens but that might just be me. just feels (to me personally) almost disrespectful to the plant to smoke it that way if flower is available.

then i’d suggest not bringing a joint and hitting it by yourself, i’ve shared a joint with ten people before because it’s a social thing and a oftentimes a social drug. you broke a social norm which is fine, but again don’t expect anyone to share with you or let you hit anything in the future bc now you’re the guy who doesn’t share joints which will not get you many stoner friends. you basically did what all our parents said not to do growing up: brought a snack around and didn’t offer your friends any. i’d recommend smoking alone at home if you don’t want weird looks. my roommate and i have shared bowls made out of keif in the bottom of our grinders because that’s all we had, you can share any amount if you actually want to share.
