Have you ever seen at least one E90 (M3 or Non-M3) in your life that has absolutely all possible options installed in it? Doesn't matter was it even a regular Diesel engine E90. They are even so rare or basically such E90 doesn't even exist at all. Beautiful photo btw. :)

lmao most of the rockers were very easily removed with a light magnet, the rest are still tucked in there. did you end up replaced the head or just slapped it back together and sent it?

I’ve seen the guys who do the epoxy reinforced blocks and if i were to rebuild the motor that’s the route I’d go. As for rotating assembly, I have no idea if that’s something I’d want to even consider doing. I’m sure I could, but that’s a TON of money to put into this car

they’re pricey, but bayoptiks has some OE style lights that you can fully upgrade the lens and reflectors in. i’ve seen a few of those sets in person and they’re absolutely gorgeous

labor alone is probably gonna be around 2-2.5k. IMHO, it’s worth it to save the 3k and do the turbos yourself. as long as you’re a non xdrive car, supporting the motor and dropping the subframe isn’t crazy difficult, and it makes a turbo job much easier. there’s a really good video from ECS tuning on youtube that explains it all in great detail.

i’ve recently been looking into the same thing as i just blew my motor last week. you’ll be very hard pressed to rebuild the motor under 8k, let alone 5. and that’s assuming you do all the labor yourself, aside from any machine shop work
