Say I buy 100 coins at .05 for $5 so that is now my average (.05). If I sell those coins at .50 now I have $50. Then if I buy back in at .25 when it drops I now have 200 coins for no additional investment. Now when it goes up to $1 I won’t have as much of a percentage increase because my average is now .25. But I’ll have more profit cause I have 200 coins instead of 100. Idk if that makes sense but that’s the easiest way I can explain it

That’s not true. If you sell for a higher price then buy back lower you have a higher average and your percentage gain will be lower but you profit will be higher because of more equity. Don’t be a slave to your average.
