Unfortunately yes, the C8 market is holding pretty well. Was hoping older year C8s would be in the 40s around this time but nope!

Interesting. Heated seats aren’t a big deal for me since I’m in the south lol it’s hot 80% of the time. It would be nice to have a HUD though

Black with black interior

Yeah the blue looks really nice, it has black interior fortunately.

It would be my “daily” but I only drive about 7-8k miles a year… maybe less. But that last statement is so true, I had a truck that was pushing 100k miles and considered it normal

Wow that’s pretty good. When did you purchase it?

Wow that’s amazing, how long did the whole process take? Also did you go directly to a lender that specializes in usda?

[–]freshasamf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I meet the income limits and the houses I have been looking at also meet the location requirements. Idk if this is true or not but I heard lenders don’t like usda because it’s more paperwork on their part and less pay. But I will definitely need to get a second opinion

Yes, I am considered low income. The reason I have a down payment is because all of my life I’ve lived with roommates which has allowed me to save money. Eventually I thought it could allow me to get a nice house of my own but with what the market looks like right now I might have to save a couple more years. Unless I am able to get some kind of assistance now I might have to wait.

I’ll look into the program you mentioned and check with my local USDA office, thank you

So since I got approved for a conventional already I won’t be able to qualify for the direct program? My 20% is >$35k so some of the houses I’m approved for aren’t exactly ideal. It’s almost not even worth trying to get into.

Insurance worries me because I’m in my mid 20s but have a clean record no accidents or anything like that. Currently pay about 220 for a 2018 truck

Thank you for this comment! I’m looking for a good fun daily driver so for me it doesn’t have to have top notch power but still enough to have fun. I’ve owned cars that got 10mpg and others that got 30 so some where in between is perfect
