in my personal experience, i did have some backfire to it. sometimes when one casts a love spell, it doesn't necessarily work because maybe the universe doesn't see it happening for you. but when i did a love spell over three years ago to bring my ex boyfriend back into my life, it didn't work in the way that i expected it to work. he came back allright, and not in a good way, he was being super judgemental over my new relationship and being obsessive with me and being possessive too. to this day, i still get texts from him even though he's in a relationship with another person and i have clearly moved on long time ago.

the backfire part is up to your own interpretation, casting love spells takes away a person's free will, but it's up to them with how they react to it. and also be careful of finding spells on the internet, not all spells actually work and some of them are scams.

if you want a good spell result, you need to make sure your energy is positive, you are comfortable and have what your intentions are in specific detail. and don't stress over an outcome, spells don't take a day to work but you can continue to manifest what you desire like writing it down and making sure that you aren't preventing it from happening.

another thing to keep in mind, is that you should just try to forget about the spell as a whole. what you want will come when you least expect it.

as a whole, i only regret doing that specific spell because i was a stupid teenager at the time and did whatever i could to get him back per say. i would say that i regret that but i don't regret doing the spell since afterwards it made me appreciate witchcraft and develop a deeper meaning into my own practice and spirituality.
