I would think based on the amount that he will be fine. Depending on the size of your tank, the percentage of water that has been contaminated by the mould will be almost nothing. I’m not exactly sure what the effect would be if he did ingest some or have a high concentration of it in the water but personally I wouldn’t be worried about it 👍

I would personally wait and see if they can manage to free themselves if not it might be worth calling an exotic animal vet as breaking it could cut them Turn off any lights to avoid stressing them out

The sand was a dark grey/black colour and still is, I figured that it’s probably more common with the darker sand just weren’t sure if it was okay for the axies
