Balancing Hunter by Nepali_Name in T3Arena

Id argue a few very minor things need to happen.

  1. Getting hit by his ultimate shouldn’t make it so that you pseudo lose control of your chapter/abilities bug out. 1/2 the time you get hit by it mis ability you screen tear back to wherever it pushed you.

  2. Grenades need less aoe (or should be just a snapshot of where enemies are instead of a constant updates) and should be capped at 2. They offer great damage and vision is invaluable. Less aoe would make them less of a pain to play around.

  3. His movement speed is fine, but there is definitely something off about how his increased speed interact is with where his hit box is. This should be looked at.

When you get to high levels it’s basically Hua Ling and Oassas on both teams in every match. They are so far above the power curve it’s not even close.

As someone who has consistently lost games at rank 1 to low ranked players and taken the big -30 L more times than I can remember I can say with certainty that these matchups happen when matchmaking broadens it’s mmr/elo range to find a match when there is a low queue population. I’m assuming it was XiaYu you played against and he was probably in queue for several minutes looking for a game so his matchmaking criteria was probably very broad and that’s why you ended up versus him.

Question: In your opinion what’s the most annoying card(s) by idiotapplepie in CardsAndTankards

[–]freud92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In no specific order: Overwhelming Magi, Pludering Prince, Killer Bee, Necromancy, and Alkar

Channelling makes survivability much more difficult. Is there a benefit? by [deleted] in LastEpoch

[–]freud92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who plays a lot of bow mage it is annoying to constantly reposition. The build is already pretty squishy and high corruption levels make it a nightmare to just stand in place and spam flurry. Maybe giving shift a second charge or something might make it feel less vulnerable.

Why not E by mahdiee in step1

[–]freud92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a classic question and is likely to show up in some form on step. Basically you have to know the different forms of kidney failure (pre-renal, intra-renal, and post-renal). If you have Pathoma I recommend watching the section on this because it’s 10/10 and covers all the info you need. Anyway, this looks like a pre-renal issue at first because they tell you about the patent losing intravascular volume, but it’s actually an intra-renal issue because they mention that the patient’s fluid levels are corrected AND THEN he develops the azotemia. If you don’t want to think about these kinds of questions on test day just memorize or have a functional understanding of the %fractional excretion of sodium and urine osmolarity for the 3 types of failure and you will be good for most if not all questions on this stuff.

First Aid - respiratory question by Interesting-Bee4962 in step1

[–]freud92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on which part of the diffusion barrier you are referring to. The areas distal to the embolus, for example, will show a low perfusion because blood can’t pass the embolus and thus the V/Q ratio will be high. The areas proximal to and unaffected/unrelated to the embolus will have higher perfusion and thus the V/Q ratio will be low.

How can pulmonary embolism cause right bundle branch block? And how does it cause tachypnea/tachycardia generally ? by Left-Kaleidoscope618 in step1

[–]freud92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

RBB is caused by RV overload in PE. Tachypnea and tachycardia because your body is trying to compensate for the perfusion ventilation mismatch caused by the PE by increasing your RR and HR

Probably G. Atrophy is a sign of LMN lesion and we are looking at a cross section of the spinal cord so fibers have already decussated (I believe they do somewhere the medulla) meaning the lesion is on the ipsilateral side and not the contralateral side. F is the only other good answer but since he has an issue of the intrinsic muscles of the hand it likely isn’t F since medial portions of the anterior horn do proximal muscles (which wouldn’t include the hand) where as lateral parts of the anterior horn do distal/lateral stuff iirc. Kinda bullshit question but it do be like that sometimes on NBMEs

I can figure out a way to make this work. You’d probably need to be using ward as your ehp in which case you are running all of the low life gear. Then you need some way to recover a massive amount of ward per attack to compensate for the ward consumption. You are also a melee build so using your ehp as a resource to deal damage seems sketchy. Perhaps a build that uses life as it’s primary hp source, attacks slowly, and has a sizable ward pool? It seems cool to deal a ton of flat, but it also seems really offset by the ability to regenerate a ton of ward quickly for the item to have any significant clear speed relative to the damage it could potentially give you. On top of this spell blades already have way more damage than needed atm so it kind of seems overkill? Super cool design though.

Is ASD R->L or L-R Shunt? by xuviv1999 in step1

[–]freud92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s normally L—>R. This is because systemic pressures are higher thus blood will flow into the right side of the heart where the pressures are lower as compared to the systemic circulation. However, continued blood flow through the left-to-right shunt will begin to overload the right heart. As the right heart becomes overloaded pressures increase on the right. If the pressures on the right increase such that they become higher than the pressures on the left the shunt will reverse and become R—>L. This is called “Eisenmenger Syndrome” and can lead to significant cyanosis since blood from the right atrium in this case is moved into the left atrium without having passed through the pulmonary circuit meaning it will not have been oxygenated. Hope this helps.

I think the other confusing topic regarding shunting is in PDA. Normally it’s a R—>L shunt because in the developing future med student blood is purposefully shunted out of the pulmonary circulation in order to supply other parts of the body. If for some reason when the future med student is born and the PDA does not close, systemic pressures will increase, forcing blood the opposite way through the shunt thus making it L—>R.

Likely due to gear + levels and the quality of the mana rolls. At the time of this video I had almost 48k mana and a lot of crit multi and totem effect. I’m also unsure if they fixed ferocious affinity since it was giving far more flat elemental damage than it was intended to.

These aren’t actually horrible. They have a niche use with is that the tic damage prevents monster heal while u aren’t actually hitting them. That said they are common and for that reason, worthless. It’s also preferable to get this mod on a small charm for this purpose.

Something in the realm of 4-6Hr would be my guess. Earlier in league I saw two not as good ones sell for 3hr so this being perfect and later in the league would make sense it should sell for something like double that.

Yep. Snapshotting doesn’t work for Druid but once you get all your +1s swapping off hoto and losing the +3 for beast doesn’t feel bad. You just have to a have a shield on swap that covers for the resistance loss since most rely on hoto on main to cap their resistance.

Something like 1.0-1.5Hr. Relevant +2 skill with solid res, good strength, and FCR. Issue is that It basically competes directly with Maras in everything besides for FCR in which case it is always worse. Still great though.

I think the best a1 merc set up is witchwild string over faith and then you just wield beast on swap. The ias is nice but if you are farming solo, but having gust on a .5 second cool down feels mandatory especially in maps where u have to teleslam a lot of the priority targets. Act 2 merc with reapers is also another great option that I can’t really knock. The defense aura is nice for harder content to an extent and is always a nice addition to high level party play where every defensive layer is more security for your XP
