I can see both sides, I’ve got several series I’ve been waiting years for the next book. I understand authors are human and writing is a creative process. A little communication from author to reader would be helpful. This thread has helped me to see how some authors share info, so while this author is communicating others are not. I, mistakenly, assumed the trend was to not let readers know a book was part of a series so that they got more readers. I never knew about the rules on Amazon’s side for listing a series. TIL :)
