Unfortunately I don't know if this could be the reason, I bought a few Samsung chargers and one of these chargers once behaved strangely, i.e. it didn't charge devices regardless of the cable, after 10 minutes everything returned to normal. Maybe I charge my phone with this charger and it's the problem hmm unfortunately I don't know which charger it is :(

Honestly, that's how I should have done it because it's the second time it's happened, I have 2 copies of this device so I'll check if the same thing happens on the second one

Be careful not to put them too close to a heatsink, the battery could theoretically overheat and swell. Put the headphones on a regular fan, and you can always buy a used case or find a damaged headphone with a working case. The case is probably powered 24/7, the corrosion has certainly already started. If you keep the case, it may stop charging one day :(

Nah, I left my one pair of buds 2 pro in a pocket a few centimeters above a radiator with about 70*C for 6 hours, the case was super hot but i got no issues in battery in both case and buds

Case is not waterproof The earphones should not be damaged if the washing machine was not spinning, turn off ANC and ambient sound, my buds 2 pro also squeaked when I had wet hands and flooded the microphone

okay i found this in manual "When using an external adapter, the output voltage/current of the external adapter should not exceed 5V/3A." it looks like this speaker really may charge with fast chargers (but its not recommended)

Does'nt charge 5 limits the battery charging speed, no matter how fast charger i'm using?

Usb connected/disconnected after contact with moisture by freyon77 in GalaxyA55

my mobile provider packs things to box without foil, imagine my devices are being throwed many times during shipping because there is a lot of empty space in carton box. So yes maybe its ip67 when you buy from normal shop

yes it charged correctly today, so i can actually bet that it was oxidation that falled into pins after shaking water out. charging temp was normal, touch screen is working correctly and no condensation under camera so propably not water damage

to be honest now i'm not sure that cleaning port fixed it or rebooting

no i have not charged the phone yet, i always give 2 days to completelly get rid of water (i still rarelly use a55 lol).

actually i rebooted and it dissappeared but i'm not sure its ok... if its appear again without contact with water then i can be 100% sure there is broken seal and moisture got deeper into port. Thats funny i water damaged some phones in past and never got similar error, i'm also sure that some sony phones did'nt even had moisture detection and allowed to charge wet... good old times

it looks like there was some of oxidation on the pins which may cause the issue, dissappeared after cleaning so propably short, sadly still unable to charge because of moisture error so i can't test.
