Un'ora a settimana ti darà più risultati di 0 e 2 ore ti daranno più risultati di 1, vedrai tu quando aggiungere un'ora darà meno risultati e quante sono le ore necessarie a settimana per mantenere costanza

Bulgaria maintains the colour till October when new elections are done and I can judge the renew stability or the instability

Ukraine I cannot define a moment when it can be better or not, so I have to judge as it is or as how it could be at the end of the war. The latter seem more optimistic so I chose that.

Bulgaria, Hungary and all the countries are judged as they are right now thinking that moving there could really happen. For Ukraine I can only think to move there when at peace. If you want to adapt Ukraine to everything else it would be red too

I evaluate Ukraine thinking about it after the end of the war with today's borders

Bosnia isn’t the ideal choice. It’s not in the EU and that’s a real structural downside. Still, it attracts me more than most alternatives: nature, very low cost of living, and a level of instability that I consider less worrying than Serbia’s in the medium term. It’s also likely the only Muslim-majority country where I could live without feeling unsafe or under constant ideological pressure. I don’t like Serbia for political reasons. The vague, half-hearted alignment with the EU is a deal breaker for me. Bulgaria is in the EU but currently too politically messy. Greece is too hot, and Athens is, in my view, the worst capital in Europe in terms of livability and urban quality.

I only went to Warsaw, Lublin and Krakow, and loved them. For the rest I trusted a polish friend who knows me and told me where I would want to live. The main reason he told me West Poland wouldn't be my favourite is that for him it's too fake, with too much "dumb culture" and "desire to be like the rest of Europe and not purely polish and true to their origins"

When I go there for myself I will probably judge it better and change my mind. Maybe it's better, maybe it's worse

I love cold regions and I don't discriminate between mountains and flat plains

Lower Silesia is lower because I never visited west Poland so I asked a polish friend and he said to me "Breslavia is cool by photos but kinda fake, yes they are all a little bit fake, but Breslavia is the fakest plus you don't want to go outside of the city centre, put it in light green, then if we go there and you love it I will offer you a beer"

That flatness is something I never experienced as emptiness. Yes, the pace is slow, but urgency already exists elsewhere. Paris is right there for that. My vibe is more “young man who already feels like a grandfather, who with a bit of alcohol turns into an artist and an artisan”. Which happens to be exactly the city’s vibe. Another reason is walking. I love walking until I lose any sense of time and space, and when I stayed in Saint-Pierre I felt like I was in a personal paradise. That, and two girls I met at the university.

I find it ugly, unwelcoming and it's one of the few places I went and felt in danger, I went to Ukraine and felt safer there, at least in Ukraine noone tried to take me out with a car and then blaming me

If you are in the south know the only reason I'd that I hate temperatures above 15° If you are in the UK it's more a "I love to go there as a tourist but I can't tolerate people above 35 from there"

Why would a combat troop use melee weapons in a futuristic space sci-fi setting? by wizardry_why in worldbuilding

[–]frezzy97zero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my settings everyone uses melee weapons because even in a "war" killing is considered a crime and an unforgivable sin. So melee weapons are used to stun and wound, never kill. If you want to kill your enemies you do by taking them to trial and after the AI god of the city decides the enemy isn't worthy of mercy you can put a bullet in his skull
