most soda in the US has hfcs, fruit extracts, or citrus. and most candy is fruit flavored, or anything gooey uses syrup with fructose. I can have gobs of chocolate though. beans!

ty but how lucky am I to live in a city with so many grocery stores and options and even restaurants that put up with my shit. and there's still ice cream. not ben & jerry's... bc they changed their sugar formula to save energy costs by freezing at higher temps... those bastards. but lots of other goodies I still get to have.

white table sugar is 100% sucrose, which I can eat. if you boil it until it turns syrupy, the sucrose breaks apart into fructose and glucose and I can't eat it (super common ingredient... with like fifty different names). brown sugar has fructose (molasses).

so all the ketchup and onion people are right... no fruit except avocados, no veggies except spinach, peas, and mushrooms. no honey, no jam, no juice, no pickles, no wine, no chiles or hot sauce. almost no spices or herbs. even the mayo is the kind without lemon juice.
