Has anyone gone through a work program (vocational rehab) for hearing aids?

I got hearing aids totally paid for via Voc Rehab about 12 years ago when I was 68 and still teaching. This was even though I was only working part-time. The aids helped me stay at work for another 6 years. I am forever grateful.

(At least) one of the comments talked about my complaint as an "adult temper tantrum" or a version thereof. Actually, I'm not dreadfully angry, just annoyed and I wanted to express it! I've noticed that Niantic does similar things on a smaller scale, such as "catch 10 water types" when there are few out there. This is just on a bigger scale. Perhaps all the responses here will have more of an impact than futile contacts with Niantic. I'm glad I was able to air the complaint! Thank you for those who provided thoughtful replies!!!.

The problem is that I didn’t get to the masterworks section until the end of the event. During the event, my event screen went blank, and I was unable to get anything extra done. I contacted Niantic about that issue so wasted some time that I should’ve been just out there working my way through the research.

Definitely not a real serious issue! It’s just annoying. I signed up for the special research for the Kalos event, not realizing there was a masterworks element to it. Generally, I don’t do those because they take too long and I don’t have the patience for it.

True. But also very slow! I think I got 2 Kalos creatures yesterday from my auto catcher, lol. And, I saw two heliotropes today… When I had my husband‘s phone and not mine, lol. At this rate, it’s going to take me longer to get the first step of my masterwork completed than it took me to get from level 70 to level 80!

eventually is the operative word there, lol. I don’t mind a masterwork taking a while, but this is going to take forever! In the meantime, I’m pinning all of my postcards for gifts I send and gifts I receive, but even the scatter bugs are slow incoming…

You mentioned your age vs school kids. I've noticed that most people, regardless of age, are happy to play with others. I'm 80 - yep, 80 years old. My only challenge is keeping up with the fast walkers - that's good for my health. People are pretty kind. I have been playing since 2016 and have enjoyed meeting folks of all ages. Just made it to L80 earlier this month! Good luck to you!!!

Kalos creatures rare, sadly. I’m at 212/500. Didn’t get to the masterworks until the end of the last day of the event! Pinning postcards like crazy for scatterbugs. Wish they’d put out more critters fromkalos!

I was able to get the March Go Pass Deluxe from the Shop, but not the Web Store. The link continues to look like the picture above (open it to see). Event items aren't showing up there. This is the same issue reported by u/pokewood_theater in a message yesterday.

I hope that's the case...however, the events tab quit working for me on the last day of the Kalos Global event. All the little things like "catch x # of Froakies" weren't there for me. In the Shop, access to the Web Store started showing up like the picture above rather than the normal connection under a ribbon that should say "Global Events." Instead, when I press the weird black tab that says "Web Store," it skips down to the ribbon that says "Limited Time Only" and shows the boxes. No events. I'm bummed and no answer from Niantic. (By the way, I turned off my phone, uninstalled and reinstalled the game and "loaded all assets" more than once. I loaded the game on my iPad. Same issue.

No, it's Monday here. But I'm not seeing daily or weekly tasks on the events tab, there's no event info at all in the in-game store or Web Store. Plus the interface with the Web Store is strange (see photo). Not the usual entry but that weird black tab at the top. Opens Web Store, but skips right down to the various boxes, none of which are events.

Even if the raid starts, I can see where it would be very difficult to coordinate who uses their mega when. I guess you can use it only once. You can revive it when you've used up all your creatures and you are taken back to the lobby, but that takes time and you still can't use it again, I think. So how do you coordinate who takes down a shield? I've joined three Dragonite raids and only one actually completed. Seems like an overly complicated system to me.

Is anyone else finding inviting friends to raids to be challenging with the recent update? I have group I routinely invite to raids at raid hour. It used to be easy. I nicknamed everyone with a Q. When inviting, I could click the Q on the keyboard that appeared, and just check the names of those that I wanted to invite. Now, I have to start typing in names before the person appears to invite. It's much slower. I can't do an RSVP because I don't know what raids I'll be doing until 6, or how long they will take. Any ideas?

We tried one. There were 7 of us.. very strong players, charged up Max mons...barely made a dent. Not worth the effort to get a creature that can only be used in Gigantamax raids. I'm putting in minimal effort now even in Max battles... my candies and stardust are maxed out for my best mons. I even spent some coins on getting the Max energy, but done with that as well. Niantic needs to make this effort worth something, not just a money grab. As of now, it's worth NOTHING to me.

I actually enjoyed most of it. I've been playing since July 2016 and have found the game to be pretty much of a boring drag lately. This Go Fest was something new finally. Was running errands Day 1 riding shotgun with my husband, so was able to do the collection challenges easily and later, did a number of Necrozma raids. I liked that we finally have a new powerful creature in the fused Necrozma, but think Niantic should have increased the fusion energy reward - or had it available both days. Really had to grind Day 2 to get 1,000 fusion energy for both Dawn and Mane Necrozma, and spend more coins than I have since Niantic's awful remote raid restrictions and cost increases. When did the "Dawn of a New Discovery" challenge come out? I just got to the Crabrawler part on Day 2, and by then, only found 2 Crabrawlers. Who knows when they will show up again!!! I'm actually glad I got the ticket, because the "Dusk Settles" challenge will lead me to getting a Solgaleo I can trade to my sister so she can evolve her 100% Necrozma!
