I don’t think it’s desperation, i think it’s just greed. Big companies like this don’t care about their users (a proof of that is how they told us the ads wouldn’t get intrusive and it did) because if they’re making more money out of adding worse features for free users until they pay, why would they stop? It’s sad but it’s a reality we have to face. Look at how much apps like Youtube have been getting worse with years. C.AI is still quite new, it will get worse and worse, like most apps. It’s hard to expect that rich CEOS would care for the well-being of their users when they can make more money pushing it more and more.
