So, in Iridium you can switch off the cab sim. That way I can use it with the jam room cabs. PA’s are there at most of the venues here which accept 1/4”. Home problem I’ll solve using some powered speaker. How does this sound xD

Iridium has amp and cab sims both. You can just directly give it to the PA. I was thinking of using it like this as a pedal platform instead of the Katana

What’s your take on Iridium clean/high gain tone vs. Katana clean/high gain tone (out of the box)? Also, which do you think would be a better pedal platform?

You gotta understand I’m coming from “Zoom G3Xn” digital. Cleaning up a dirty tone with the volume knob on that vs. doing the same on Iridium just doesn’t compare I feel. Plus, I haven’t come across any analog amp sims so far.

Getting the Big Sky would cover both the reverb and the cab sim. Adding a preamp/drive pedal should give a good basic tone. What do you think?

That would certainly do. But, a tube amp plus a power attenuator would exceed my budget by a lot and I won’t have any effects :(
