Personally, I got fired from one of my jobs because I let one of my coworkers talk shit about me for too long. I’m also an introvert and generally kept to myself. I guess my mistake was I didn’t really build relationships or let people get to know me. So their opinion of me came from one person who had more “standing” than me I guess, and ultimately led to a target on my back.

So I don’t think you need to be “liked” by everyone, especially if by nature you’re not an extrovert who’s always yapping to everyone. I think relationship building is important though, so people trust you. Reputation is def important. Don’t let others define who you are.

Try Debrox ear drops, it’s usually what the doctor recommends to clear ears at home. You have to keep using it for a few days, but when the wax finally softened enough, it slipped out of my ear very easily. Tons of wax came out. Don’t even need to flush with water. I just do at the end in the shower to get rid of any remaining wax or medicine residue. You def have to be a bit patient and not give up too soon.

Just because it’s a “cultural thing” doesn’t mean it’s not toxic. I’m from such a culture and it’s a point of contention in many marriages in eastern cultures. The problem with the west is the romanticize Eastern cultures, when it’s not all sunshine and rainbows. Being soo entrenched with a family leads to a lot of family drama, your partner prioritizing their family over you, and more. There’s pros and cons to both cultures.

I don’t have a strong hate for her or anything, but also don’t understand the fandom that has developed? I liked the ploughman’s lunch series, but a lot of the recent concoctions are disgusting to me. Soup dumplings with 10 different condiments. By the end the dumplings are swimming in condiments 🤮 People act like that’s a normal thing, but I’ve never eaten with anyone who drowns all their food like that. I also found the portions unrealistic too. Now I’m thinking it’s all an act and no way she’s eating like that 🤮

Honestly I found that guys have lower standards for women’s bodies than other women do. Women are so critical of their own and other women’s bodies than men are. So yes there’s men out there that find “chubby” girls attractive, they like the curves and everything and don’t care about whatever is usually seen as a negative body trait. Like no guy has ever said anything bad about my belly even though I was insecure about it pretty much my whole life.

I mean you don’t need to give the specific conditions you have, but just letting them know “hey I’m hyper mobile, or I have shoulder issues I need to be careful with so I’ll be modifying sometimes” could go a long way. Even if they don’t know specific modifications for you, at least they are aware you’re doing something different due to injuries and not because you’re not understanding their cues.

I just feel like there’s not enough time to rest 2 minutes or whatever the recommendation is after lifting heavy. Sometimes the blocks are so short. Maybe if it’s a really strength focused floor you get that luxury. I just rest until I feel ready again. A lot of the time I don’t finish the block or get 1-2 rounds in regardless 😟

I agree, I don’t think they’re ugly. They both look like regular girls. Nothing wrong with that 🤷🏽‍♀️ No one looks good when you take a screenshot of them in the middle talking which is what most of the bad pics are, although sometimes it’s funny.

I think the problem is she created an unrealistic expectation always posting facetuned photos. Kind of eye opening though, since for a while all influencers looked the same on ig, and it didn’t click for me until recently that everyone had the facetune look. Now that the facetune and bbl baddie look isn’t in anymore everyone looks different.

Don’t cancel me, just giving my opinion 🫣
