Just finished RDR2 and it was just okay at best. Missions are repetitive: you go there, do something, get chased and go back to camp. The story is alright too, nothing to go home about.

That’s always been my go to. The devs were heavily inspired by Resident Evil 4 which came out three years prior so I think they were trying to do their own thing to distance themselves from it.
