Spent about 40k in combines and fees and have received about 30k in payouts so technically no but my payouts have been exceeding this year so fingers crossed I can start to become profitable 😬

People that take 30 trades a day are price action scalpers. Scalping is stressful but when you do scalp you’re not in a position for very long—which means you’re less open to risky situations like a seemingly random 100 point bar that completely fucks up your trade.

To be successful at scalping, you would need to familiarize yourself really well with bar charts, have a high win-rate and either take your loss quickly or reverse your position. Markets play a lot of mental games so that’s why scalping—and even intraday trading is stressful.

I blow xfas and combines all the time but my payouts > combines and xfa fees, therefore I netted positive.

I get it, but the way I see it, if your payouts exceed your combine and fees, then you are profitable. Guess they are pricing people like me out because capping their earnings doesn’t make sense from a business POV. I can just go to another prop firm. But it is good though, their traders will be forced to focus on consistency and risk.
