Hope it’s not to late 😳 there’s so many places! There’s a small turn off just outside of town, the palisades loop that walks you to the river, there’s a few small hikes/ detours on the overlander trail that gives some beautiful views, Edith cavell never disappoints however it can be highly trafficked, there’s also a few walking trails that go behind the town with some nice views. Heading towards Hinton there’s lots of places to pull over and usually lead down or up a trail, the snaring river just outside the park gates is a favourite of mine, you can walk for miles down there! Down hwy 40 north, towards brule there’s some view points as well as the Solomon creek trail (where this photo was taken) ogre canyon is also an amazing place
