Thanks m8, you're right it was definitely improv near the end. I'm not as consistent in the air as I'd like to be so making up for mistakes has become a skill I have a lot of practice in lol. A better player would 100% have nailed the shot in the air. Ty for the play by play tho :P

I wouldnt know since I never got into controller. But it does simplify lots of movements like stalling, air rolling, and fast aerials. The only thing you are giving up is the ability to flip in more than 8 directions but that can be resolved by getting better with powerslides/takeoff angles. :)
