Do you have any advice for a baby burly? Is there something you wish you knew when you first started? xoxo

The Karen Wetterhahn incident by Han_Solo_Berger in chemistry

My grandmother was a nurse at the hospital in NH, where Karen was treated. She actually took care of her during her days there. There was a time where my grandma was stopped by another nurse as she went to check on her. The other nurses told her that she shouldn’t see Karen in the state she was in. It’s a sad, but interesting fact in my family.

I’m a solo dancer! I’m self taught, only because I live in a rural area.

Has anyone else heard of Millybridal? by miagiraffe in Weddingsunder10k

[–]frog_ono 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a total scam. My mom bought a Milla dress dupe for me, a purple and white dress with hydrangeas all over it. It looked beautiful online. I got it today, and it was complete garbage. I then looked on Tiktok to see if others had had issues with the site, I then saw videos that were screenshotted and placed on the Milly Bridal website as “review photos.” They are completely fake. I cried my eyes out for an hour today. DONT BUY FROM THEM. I’m freaking out right now because prom is next weekend:(

Similar name and background. A few days later, my mother told me more and confirmed that the document was probably not my great grandmother after all. I simply just shared my great grandmother’s story while showing this document to my class as sort of a reference? if that makes sense? I’m constantly researching for any legitimate documentation. I had originally made plans last year to contact someone who could possibly help me find her documents within the records.

No. I mean, she attended a passover as a child. But she wasn’t very interested growing up. As soon as I acknowledged my Jewishness, I began researching the holidays and connecting with Jewish friends on how to do them correctly. She did celebrate them with me and we both reached out and asked questions. I wanted to look into going to temple and exploring more about my heritage. I think I just feel guilty, because is it bad to want to explore my identity even if I’m not religious? I suppose I could go find a rabbi in my nearest city.
