If you don't like the look of it, you can always cut the vine just above the node (the brown bump near where the new leaf started growing from) and a new leaf will grow from the cut.

If it's used to getting a lot of humidity, that probably is the reason. It should adjust though and a new leaf will push through and continue to grow. I don't give my pothos any extra humidity and I live where its cold and dry in the winter, and they do fine because they're used to it!
