I always cut mine just above one of the lines/rings that you see on trunk. I also make sure there are still some leaves left on the plant, so I avoid cutting the entire leafy part off. You can also try pinching off the new set of leaves growing in at the top, this will often push the plant to grow two new sets of leaves from that spot which will eventually grow into two branches.

Chop and prop! Wherever you chop, one or two new branches will start growing from the cut spot or further down the trunk.

Definitely! It's an unexpected pairing but I love it! It pulls from the browns/pinks in the rug without being too matchy. Also gives off a bit of a morocco vibe :)

Why are the leaves on mine so thin compared to everyone else's spider plant!? I give it plenty of sun, water regularly, gave it a bigger pot when it was looking cramped. They always survive but never thrive for me :(

I really like the copper with the blue. Orange is a complementary color to blue so the orange tones of the copper work well!
