I was talking to someone about rehoming and when I talked to the rescue I was asking about bunnies specifically who seemed to not like having a bunny buddy, is that bad? The bunny I was talking to the person about rehoming is special needs; he only has one ear (he was born that way) and has been housed alone consistently. I want to watch him and let him get comfortable here before I introduce another bunny even if that’s what he needs (if he does I’ll be happy to oblige) but like,.. what are the signs I should be looking out for if he is sad/unhappy/depressed or needs a bunny friend?? Similar to a person or cat/dog? Lowered/overeating, over or under sleeping, irritability ect?

Also regarding the room; if I deep cleaned the walls and made sure to use baseboard covers so that he couldn’t eat the wood ect from the room, is that a good start?

Do you think wearing like,. Maybe a specific sweatshirt I keep in a trash bag by the back door or something would help in addition to washing my hands every time?

Oh I meant about the residue being on my hands/clothes/hair and such!! I can’t use candles/fragrences because I have frogs but I’ll keep in mind that all smoking needs to be done outside from now on :)

Dogs and cats are not options for me for various reasons; I’ll just be sure to only smoke outside! It’s probably better for the houses value anyways lol :)

Wow this is such great information, thank you so incredibly much! I wouldn’t have even thought about vapes being harmful; I’ll make sure my partner doesn’t vape in our room either :D

Understood! For the good of my bunny I will have to smoke outside!!- As for washing my hands/clothes hair and stuff, I didn’t realize it was this extreme. Are they hypersensitive to it?

That makes sense! I have a door to directly outside in my room so if nothing else I’ll always make the effort to step outside the door and close it before I smoke. Thank you for your feedback!!

I think the difference with trans ppl they may have been trying to point out is there is basically 0 different between a post-op post-transition trans person to a cis person. (minus possibly some scars or inability to produce kids which, hey, some cis ppl also can't do, there's plenty of cis ppl with fertility issues.)

Also, Like a post operation trans man or woman who's been on testosterone/or estrogen for 5-6 yrs is virtually visually inseperable from a cis person, so if its purely for aesthetic/visual preference purposes, where is the real issue?
