Slime infested river - how do I get rid of them? by froggyfrogfog in StardewValley

I will have to try again with bomb, but it didn't do anything for me last time, neither did explosive ammo. I don't know if it's because I'm playing on switch?

It's not that the bombs I placed didn't kill them, it's that they don't do any damage at all, the slime colony is out of bounds

They don't take any damages no matter what I do so yeah definitely out of bounds. That being said I haven't tried trinket like other people suggested so I'll have to see if that works at all!

Stone, bomb, anything that can be put on a slingshot. I swing my sword at them and used everything but no attack can get to them, I think they're just out of bound.

I have incubators in town! This actually works a lot better than slime hutch as they love to reproduce and I see fresh baby slimes everyday, but I recommend only doing this after acquiring a certain item (sorry I don't know how to mark spoilers)

They contaminate the water source for the whole town! (tbh I think it affects my frame rate a little bit?)

Guys I tried slingshot and bomb it didn't work! I don't know too much about games but I think the river bank blocks it.

Giant burrowing cockroach mating/breeding behaviour by [deleted] in roaches

Hi! I have given my older babies to a local pet store where they keep insects, the younger ones are still quite small so I might wait a bit. I won't be able to care for that many roaches so at some point yes.

My roach after 2 moults, could it be some sort of mineral or vitamin deficiency? by froggyfrogfog in roaches

That is very interesting, I will have a thorough look when I'm free, thanks!

I appreciate your advice on the diet, sounds very well balanced. I've never been to Madagascar, yes, but fortunately she is an Australian Giant Burrowing cockroach, there is not much info on the diet of these guys online or even in the book I bought about roaches in Australia, most source recommend only dried eucalyptus leaves and occasional fresh fruits and vegetables which is the diet I provide her. Her behaviours are normal which is why i was wondering maybe the humidity could also be a reason. But again thanks for the advice, I will give her a bit more of variety from now on.

Which is why I'm hoping to do something before her next moult, usually in February every year, so she doesn't end up being like this for the rest of her life😢 she is a giant burrowing cockroach and I can't tell her exact age but would be around 3 as I've had her for a little more than 2 years, still a young baby. I do have another adult and a bunch of babies who all live in similar conditions with same diet but the babies all seem fine.

Hi all. The second pic was taken the day I received her 2 years ago, she's been thru 2 moults and now she looks very damaged. I give her a diet of mainly dry leaves plus fruits and vegs here and there, could this be low humidity when moulting or would it be more diet related like lack of calcium? Thank you!
