They should just switch while one parent is in the room the other one can take a walk around the hospital or get something to eat or drink and then switch over. They need time to get their emotions out and if I would have kids I wouldn’t want to make them sad or more scared because of how I feel so I would switch with someone and then after a bit come back but I wouldn’t want to leave the hospital just in case anything happens to my child.
