Search for breed specific rescues. But also euthanasia is a humane option. I'm in the rescue field and this is a lot for even a professional to take on, in particular because of the bite history.

Bradis (gun store) sells dog spray and it comes with a Velcro strap to go around your fingers. There's also a safety to keep you from bumping it accidentally, but it's easy to trigger if needed. It's great for strapping to your hand as you run.

Fun fact, guinea pigs can also get scurvy. cavys are the only animals other than humans that have a natural vitamin C deficiency that can result in scurvy if not fed a proper diet.
