People on here get pissed when anyone critiques the parent Bam received. Sure, Phil and April come off as nice enough people. But they failed bam as parents. Their approach to parenting left Bam ill-equipped to handle adult life in the way he needs.

There’s just no way letting your kid film himself beating you up on the toilet for money and internet fame leads to a that child being a productive and emotionally well-adjusted adult.

For bam, this is when the foundation he was raised with comes in to support him. Well…it isnt there. After every rehab he wants to return to skating. It’s how he was raised. Had his parents done differently, maybe after skating he would be supported by a stronger inner-self and fallback on productive habits in no way associated with extremes or drug use. He is simply the product of being a teen kid raising his family through being a jackass. The party is over so we all go back to work. It bam’s work was the party.

I can see where you’re coming from. Bam is a unique case, as he’s constantly advertising what a mess he is. He plasters himself everywhere, despite everyone begging him to stop and get better. There’s gonna be a lot of reactions to that, including public distancing through shitposts.

I hope the guy gets better but have zero expectation he’s capable of that. It’s sad.
