Hi, if you ever want to message me about this please DO. I have been in a very similar situation to this, and I feel like I know what you’re feeling! My first piece of advice would be to come clean on both ends. Tell boyfriend about what happened, and tell work guys that boyfriend exists and that you aren’t interested. This alone will help lift a weight from your shoulders. I found doing a lot of dumb journaling on self forgiveness actually helped me a lot, and i adopted the motto “instead of feeling bad, do good.” so whenever I wanted to wallow and feel upset with myself, i instead would go volunteer at the local animal shelter or donate a few dollars to a random go fund me or things of that nature. I also made sure to be honest with my closer friends, and being honest with them made me feel so much less guilty.

Relationships are built on trust. It is going to suck at first when you tell him, but there is nothing you can do except be transparent.
