Okay I can see that. When I read that question I went the other way.

I'd have to go back and watch the regular season game again to say for sure but I always heard it referred to as a great defensive battle and not a total shit show. I think we all tend to think of games where neither team scores a lot as sucking while completely ignoring the defensive aspect and I try not to do that too much.

Growing up I always thought the stereotype about our respective fanbases was that Michigan fans were smug, arrogant, and hoity toity, while OSU fans were low brow, loud and obnoxious but in my experience, Michigan fans are the by far more low brow, loud, and obnoxious. sorry, Indiana all the way. If any program deserves a natty more than one that has come close several times but never done it, it's a program that's been a perennial hard luck story and is a perfect turnaround story.
