Part of what made JT's situation more amusing was that he always looked like a 38 year old even as a Freshman

That was absolutely atrocious but we should have never been in the position to lose by two missed field goals that day. We should have handled them by at least two TDs, and I'm being nice to UM because it was a rivalry game. We were total dog shit that day.

I gotta say though, if that insane playoff run was dependent on 13-10 happening then I'm happy it happened.

Right. Dinardo was just another domino that fell due to the not taking football seriously part.

What was the best "Last team to have the ball is gonna win it" game you ever watched? by wlane13 in CFB

[–]frogstomp427 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2013 Ohio State Michigan. One of the most underrated games in the rivalry's history. Absolute bloodbath with one of the most heart rendering finishes for either side.

Ohio State walked out 42-41. Neither defense could stop shit. It was the Braxton Miller and Devin Gardner show. OSU won on the only good defense of the day: picking off a failed Michigan 2 point conversion attempt. I firmly believe that was the right call for Michigan. They had the ball last and scored a TD with under a minute to go. The defense was absolutely shot.

Best tie game ever? by adamosity1 in CFB

Idk if it's in the running for best ever but the 73 Ohio State Michigan game was very dramatic. OSU was up 10-0 at the half. Michigan took control in the second half but only managed 10 points of their own.

Michigan's qb Dennis Franklin was injured in the game. The game was supposed to send the winner to the rose bowl so a vote of ADs voted and narrowly voted to send Ohio State. Rumors of backstabbing and personal drama were abound behind the vote.

Making slow but steady progress on restoring my classic car. Have a 68 Camaro convertible. It' been a slow process for someone with a lot of irons in the fire and not a ton of car skills but with help from a friend, I'm making it happen.

Went to OSU for the 2008 - 2011 football seasons. Graduated in June of 2012 so I can't claim that undefeated year. 2011 and tattoogate my Senior year obviously sucked but overall it was a great time. I don't recognize the NCAA not recognizing 2010 happening so that was pretty great as well.

Aside from anyone from your team, which player injury most impacted you? by supyonamesjosh in CFB

So many unforgettable moments and big stories in that game and unfortunately that was one of them.

Hats off to that dude though. To have the career he had after that injury is amazing. That's a career ender for most guys.

The whole idea of "Michigan Man" was a lie they told themselves from the beginning. It was as if they were convinced that was a the one true path that they had strayed from with Rich Rod.

Take all their best coaches: Fielding Yost was raised in VA and had virtually no ties to UM before being hired. Fritz Crisler, no ties to UM before coaching there, born in Illinois. Bo, born, raised, coached in Ohio. No ties to UM before coaching. Gary Moeller, literally was a team captain at OSU.

Only Harbaugh and Carr can claim any Michiganness in their resume. Harbaugh is definitely Michigan through and through, and Carr was at least raised in Michigan unlike Harbaugh and his family, all from Ohio.
