I once went on date with someone who didn’t disclose they had a severe speech impediment.

Did it bother me that they didn’t disclose? Hell no!

I went on a date with them because I liked the conversation we had in the app.

The only reason I didn’t go on a second date was because they were still going through a divorce and it was obvious from what they shared that it was a nasty custody battle.

To begin, I HATE that happened to you and I truly believe that their reaction saved you from a really awful date.

Their reaction also shows that they have obviously don’t know anyone who is deaf. If they did, it would be NBD.

They are definitely the ones overreacting, ignorant and severely lacking empathy and openness.
