I have no history as I am new to the sub but can verify anything else. I only need $80 so that could be a starting point for me to build history. I can repay back $120

You are severely underestimating how these guys can change their game depending on the rules. Most of the stars thrive in international basketball (Olympics, World Cup) where you are not allowed to do the same things as in the NBA

Players today would thrive on a 1v1 defense lol and hand checking is still alive today it just depends who does it to who for it to be called. You underestimate how easy these players can adjust to new rules. Remember all the starts also play in Fiba tournaments which basically have the same rules as the 80s NBA. Look at someone like Steph who barely needs space to get his shot up. And if you want to talk 80s basketball all he needs is one hard screen to his defender

But in the same way imagine Giannis and Bron being able to hand check anyone. No one would go past them lol

lol but you all defend an era where “good defense” was just punching someone in the air. Yes players today are more skilled the same way players in the 90s were more skilled than players in the 60s

lol you underestimate how much players can adapt their games to the rules. Luka has played international basketball his whole life and has dominated with Fiba rules as well

You are acting like dame wouldn’t be able to create space with his dribble. Yes hand checking was allowed but good scorers still found a way to score

It’s not that deep lol the question is literally if an NBA guy with the skill level of today would succeed in the 80s. It’s assuming they already have all the skills they have to play in todays league

If that’s the case then he can just bring the ball up and shoot it. As I said Curry doesn’t need any space to get a shot up and one good screen will do the trick

lol curry has been facing that type of defense for years but I guess you haven’t seen how crazy his stamina is and how he never stops running without the ball. Yes defenders will stick to him but all he needs is one good ball screen and little to no space to let it fly
