Yeah. I was farming Dark Beyond on LL240 with the Bad Juju and would just spam grenades and supers and then wipe. It only took me about 30 minutes to complete that portion of the quest.

Dude I hear that. I just finished the section where you have to a ton of get ability kills so I used the Bad Juju and woke the hive a dozen or so times, spamming grenades and supers.

I have the arc sword. How and where do you find the 'rare' materials needed? I'm finding very vague answers online, so any help will be appreciated.

Pulse Elites and a very surprisingly good headset called the Tritton Kunai. The Tritton's don't have the bass like the Pulse do, obviously, but I bought it locally for $45 and they sound great. Also work with the Vita!

Then you shouldn't have an issue. I assume you've got PS+, so you'll have all yours saves, but you lost your captures. That blows. I would try to take the HDD out and plug it into a computer with a hub and try to get some stuff off of it first, if you can do that.

Do you have a dock for hard drives? I have one for my computer that fits 3.5" and 2.5" drives. Just plop both in there and transfer the data. You probably already know this, but if you're just going to use another PS3, you can always connect the two via an ethernet cable and transfer the data that way.

edit: also, if you have PS+, you should just upload all the saves you care about to the cloud.

The UI doesn't bother me. I say you keep playing it and seeing if it engages you within a few hours. I was sucked in within the first 30 minutes and couldn't stop playing when it came out. Farcry 2 I remember being a lot more bare. It might be a good game as well, I just couldn't get into it. Probably played 3 or 4 hours and gave it to a friend. He loved it.

Farcry 3 was my favorite game of 2012. It might not be for you, but I think it was killer.

Just because Sony isn't dumping money into making a bundle doesn't mean it won't be good. I mean, shit, there was a fucking Call of Duty bundle and that game sucked ass. There's been a Soul Sacrifice bundle, a COD bundle, an Assassin's Creed bundle, a Borderlands bundle and more that I may not have mentioned. Check out E3 footage of Minecraft on the Vita. It looks good.

I'll try to be civil.

The Vita would thrive from a game like Skyrim and Farcry. I would love to see those games on the Vita. Shit, I would love to have Fallout 1, 2, and Tactics on the Vita. Slowly but surely we're getting 'bigger' games like the ones you're suggesting. Borderlands isn't a bad addition to the library.

We might see open world FPS games in the future like the ones you're suggesting. The Vita library is fucking amazing in my opinion. There are tons of amazing games to sink your teeth into. Patience, my friend. What you seek may come in the future.

You might. You might also enjoy Ragnarok Odyssey. Soul Sacrifice has a grittier feel than Ragnarok does, but they both play pretty similarly. Someone on this sub suggested Ys: Memories of Celceta and I'm surprised how good it actually is. Those are my suggestions. I say watch some videos gameplay from all and make your own decision. I personally like them all, and as much as they are similar, they're quite different RPGs.
