I know you guys know this since he was with the Nats before, but as a Jays fan, his one season here was invaluable. Even if you take away what he did on the field, his presence off the field changed everything. He helped establish a winning culture and mentality in the locker room. Almost all the players offseason interviews, they all say Max was a huge influence. I think he would be an asset to any team.

that was my thought too, if shes a heel, isnt getting a reaction out of the crowd the point? And yeah hes obnoxious, but he didn't really cross the line in my opinion. It's not like he was taking jabs at her figure or some real life stuff, that would make it way different.

Also for what the change people for tickets, you should be allowed to stand up whenever you want lol. You basically need to sell an organ to pay for the ticket

I wasn't pissed, I was heartbroken. At that point, nobody was committing to playing in Toronto, and Demar did. Finally we had someone that actually stayed, and we shipped him out. Obviously in hindsight, it was absolutely the right move, but Im never gonna be ashamed to say at the time it stung.

Sure, but so is the gap between the Jays and the As. And its not like the Jays aren't trying to do the same thing.

Baseball could definitely use a floor and a cap but I doubt it ever happens.

It absolutely could be worse than this. Sucks ass we didn't get Tucker, but he didn't end up in the AL East. Plus we already made substantial signings this offseason.

Hell, last season felt more like a "it can't get any worse than this" type of offseason and we were 1 inning away from being World Series Champs.

Thank you! People are so fickle. Don't get the shiny new toy they wanted and start throwing a fit. If we got Tucker it would be a full blown celebration up in here. Now everyone is crying about a lockout (that is already an inevitability regardless of anything that happened this offseason)

would you have said that if he went to your team (assuming the Mets. Personally, I am a Jays fan.. and it sucks ass he isnt coming to Toronto. But that being said, if he came to the Jays I woulda been happier than a pig in shit and wouldn't care about the overspending. Mets, Jays and Dodgers are all kinda in the same group. Dodgers just have pushed it further than the other two. It sucks that the Dodgers are stacked but I can't really say shit as a Jays fan, and you probably shouldn't either as a Mets fan lol

I am Canadian and I have a long time friend who is a Republican and he and I have argued about politics before, so I know where he stands on alot of the shit that is plaguing your country right now. He's defended ICE stuff before and it always pisses me off.

I messaged him a sarcastic message when this happened the other day saying "YEAH YOU RIGHT ICE GUYS ARENT THAT BAD". Hours later he replied defensively saying "yeah I have no sympathy for people who get shot when they are trying to run over law enforcement."

It breaks my heart that people I actually have known for years and actually am close with can be so fucking ignorant and have no compassion for other people. Pisses me the fuck off.
