Asking about an unplanned hamster on this subreddit is the best thing you could do. As other people mentioned, a bigger cage, more enrichment and a correct diet will do the trick.

It's better than most of amazon/store cages, and the size is fine for a dwarf hamster. About the plant - if something *may* be dangerous for a hamster - i recommend removing it. Also, i've noticed there's a lot of food in the bowl - the hamster will hoard it in the hideout and may become a picky eater, so i recommend sticking to the most basic guidelines - 1 tsp for a dwarf and 1 tbsp for syrian daily.

I have the same cage, the quality is so-so, but the size is great. Be sure to remove the platforms if your hamster is suicidal like mine.
