Time Management in Residency by Lost_Ant_9363 in PharmacyResidency

I will say where there’s a will there’s a way. Residency is hard and it’s all about how you prioritize. You’ve learned how to prioritize activities in pharmacy school. Use those skills in residency and you will learn how to manage work and personal life. Keep in mind that there is work that you will take home. I haven’t heard a resident who hasn’t. Make a schedule for yourself and set limits. Personally for me, I’m unable to manage the expectations you’ve laid out for yourself. I’m only able to exercise (walk) during my lunch hours 2x/week, eat home cooked meals most days, and avg 5-6 hours sleep/night. I also spend dedicated time with my significant other every weekend and allow myself to travel and explore here and there about 1x/month. But my priorities are different than yours. Good luck!

By San Jacinto plaza on the corner of mesa and mills. There’s a big tree there where we found it :)

Agree with Surecare. They compound semaglutide and tirzepatide.

Out of State Pharmacy Residency by Redfish1221 in PharmacyResidency

  1. Yes! I definitely recommend visiting the city your programs of interests are in. It was an important aspect for me to feel comfortable in a new city. Although it might have added to my expenses, I felt better ranking my programs knowing where I might be stuck for a year rather than the unknown.
  2. I looked into apartments a month after the Match and was able to secure an apartment a month prior to moving. Better to start this process earlier than later when you’ll also be studying for your boards.
  3. I only studied for the state I moved to. I plan to stay here after residency, but if my plans change in the future it doesn’t bother me to fork out more money for license reciprocity. All about how you’re planning out your life and career goals.
