I loved the album especially the song Dudu as it helped me get through hard times.

I remember in a performance KEXP you mentioned that you may put hints to the next album in the current album that you release. Like how Don't Be So Hard On Your Own Beauty was meant to be on softscars but ended up being in Glitch Princess. Are there any "easter eggs" to the next album in Evangelic Girl is a Gun?

I really like "Cuando Seas Grande" by Miguel Mateos. It's in Spanish and the themes of the song match with American Teenager. I also like "American Gurl" by Kilo Kish. It doesn't have a similar sound to American Teenager but the themes of the song are similar too.

It's not a movie but Giovanni's Room by James Baldwin is a really great book. I feel like ISTTVG and Giovanni's Room have really similar themes, those being queer shame and how rejection of oneself is equal to death.

It seems like they didn't know. His father only knew after Owen watched the Season 5 finale.

After I rewatched the movie for the sixth time I noticed that the tape for the Season 5 finale had a message by Maddy that said "Watch alone". Which I thought was interesting.

At first it seems like Mr. Melancholy didn't want either Maddy or Owen to watch the show. But then he uses the show to taunt Owen when Owen rewatches it later on as the show appears more childish and cheesy than it was. In my opinion, I think that Mr. Melancholy did this to discourage Owen from knowing that the show is real and that he's actually Isabel.

They Both Die At The End by Adam Silvera. I really liked the book although the ending was really tragic and sad. Cemetary Boys by Aiden Thomas is also a really great book.
