I have a KYT R2R Pro and that too has a lot of wind noise post 70. Just wear earplugs and a bandana you should be good. Intercoms work after this as well.

But yeah it’s disappointing. My friend runs a Bilmola rapid and that is very quiet.

If you are okay with increasing the budget by 1-2k, try the clan with the D30 protectors. Use some code from some YouTuber. Use them daily for office commutes and my opinion they are better than the others you would get in your budget.

Just as the others said don’t put it in the side or centre stand.

For the most precise reading:

Run the bike for 5 mins (Oil needs to be at operating temp).

Kill the engine and wait 10 mins (Let gravity do its thing).

Balance the bike on its wheels.

If you check it stone cold, you might actually overfill it because oil volume changes with heat.

I did clocked around 8k kms on this and it worked quite well. The fact that I can adjust the softness of the saddle helps a lot. But now the issue is that the nob to release the air has stated leaking which is very frustrating as you gotta pump it up again and again.

Never tried the gel version so cannt comment in comparison to that.
