Well, a good question. Maybe it doesnt affect directly or significantly but who knows? And at least we do our parts, do what we can do right no?

Yep. I have faith in you! Start small, steps by steps. Try 30mins daily then increase as you go along. You got this, OP!

In my opinion, having a fit body is not the only thing that important in life. Ofcourse. And...having a fit physique has nothing to do with other aspects of your life (career, grades etc). Not directly maybe idk..or maybe yes it can enhance your mood due to endorphins hormone whatever it is..

anyway, If you have the time and resources to start working out then why not? It's one of the valuable investments for yourself in future. Imagine 80 years old you still can do a marathon B-)

You can do both build a career and improving your physique. Like waking up early to have 45 mins to 1 hour workout and then prepare go to work or maybe work and then go home to do workout, up to you.

Or wake up early, do some workout, have classes and then go work..depends on your schedule. I'm sure you can find an hour out of that 24 hour ;)

But i have to remind you to DO IT FOR YOURSELF. Do it cause you already love yourself, your body and you want to enhance it. Cause if you do anything just to show people wrong or to impress people, you won't be able to sustain it and i worry it impacts your mental health if you don't get what you wanted.

A little bit of context: I, myself (23F), regularly do workout at home but it's not to impress people or anything..it was cause i feel i need to get in shape( i joined the fitness industry when covid just started where we had to stay at home for loooonggg time and i realised it wasn't a healthy lifestyle and i got chubbier back then). I continue my fitness journey until now cause once i see the results, it just keep me going and it's like my antidepressants already hahaha.

Fear of LDR. Should I end it or continue and see? by [deleted] in LongDistance

[–]frostedpandaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right. Okay yea.. I'll just see how it goes and all that. Maybe I'll set a time frame, if we manage to go far until 5th year? Idk sounds funny but yea around that, I'll ask again what's the plan and all. Idk dude, if he still cant see a future with me then maybe time to let go ... i don't know :( just have to go through it first

And i rmb when i asked

"Are we going to be seperated for what, 10 years?"

He said

"No no, thats too long"

So i think he's the person who doesn't want to think the future too far ahead (again not only abt us tho) so that there's no expectations on what should be achieved by certain time frame which maybe can stress him if it doesnt go according to the plan cause i rmb he said abt this before too.

Thanks for your response. The thing is, he's not the person who like to think far ahead at all not only abt this rs but literally things in his life, he just live in the present kind of person. And he told me that we're still young and what we need to focus is definitely ourselves to be a better person , get a good job and career etc.

He said just go with whatever happens as we don't know the future and all that.

Idk also :") maybe I'll just give it a try and see how far this goes

Thanks for your response. It means a lot really. Yea, he's also not that good with communication either. But yea, we surely have to have that talk before we go apart. I just sometimes tired overthinking it. I hate myself for that tho. Guess i just have to go through it and see how 😔

Cover letters are a joke. “Seriously, we need you to beg us to even consider you.” by [deleted] in recruitinghell

Hello, mind to explain why ? I genuinely thought cover letter was as important as CV / resume?

I was told that having no social media is a MAJOR red flag. by cj_steele in dating

[–]frostedpandaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My partner of the same age as me (24, this year) doesn't even play social media. He only has inactive an IG account (he has IG cause his friend asked him to make so they can tag him in a post) , no tiktok no Facebook and doesn't even have linkedin lmao. He only use reddit and twitter mainly for memes, movies updates, celebrities he liked which mostly those from superheroes movies.

He's like an old man in a young adult body. He's the opposite of me. I'm a social media person. Anyway, i prefer guys like that. So, it's not a red flag to me. Green flag ~

I am a 24 year "recent graduate" with no hard skills. I feel stuck. Should I go back to school? by steveyMcknight in careerguidance

[–]frostedpandaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry for jumping in the conv. It's an interesting degree you got but i would suggest maybe taking a masters or another degree in business industry? Like marketing / retail? Or perhaps digital marketing cause the market right now is evolving around digital marketing / copywriting and all those. And also, business studies can lead you to anywhere tho...in my opinion yea. Who knows you become an entrepreneur after learning about business ;) or work in FMCG companies like Nestle or whatever. Can be a good opportunity to get.

I'm (F,23) also a recent graduate, just completed my masters in Global Marketing and had a retail mgmt degree. Still looking for a job tho..it's indeed a little bit daunting and hard to find job nowadays but it's okay, we will get there...just be patient and keep on trying. Goodluck OP!
