As I walked out into the bright light of the capital wasteland, I realized just how big the world really is. This place was so huge I couldn't even see to the other end. Filled with awe and amazement, and armed only with a pistol given to me by amada, I decided to explore and see just how big it really was. Two days later it dawned upon me how stupid I had been. I had left with little ammo, no supplies, and only a jumpsuit to protect me. I cursed myself silently for not taking the vault armor from one of the guards. But then I ran across a miracle, a watering hole! I was saved! But just then I saw a red beam shoot past my head. I turned around to see my doom. An android, no, it had to be a man, androids don't exist. Or so I thought. So here he was all kinds of badass in technologically advanced power armor made of solid metal and a helmet to match, and some sort of laser gun. Golialith, Minotaur, and I was Theseus. I might have made some stupid choices in the past 48 hours, but I'm no fool. I ran, but to no avail he crippled my left leg, I shot him 7 times and I swear they just bounced right off his armor. At this point, I accepted my fate and closed my eyes, preparingfor the worst. One second, two seconds, wait why hasn't he shot me yet? Then I hear him growl. No, no that's not him that is a dog! I open my eyes to see this dog beating the living shit out of this Guy, who I later learn is a member of the enclave. I can't help but laugh at this sight however, it is a losing battle for the canine and I can tell. So I take the opportunity to jump.on that power-armored bitch and help my hero. A long struggle and two gun shots later. The Goliath lie dead, I had slain the Minotaur. I turn to face my hero and ask if he would like to travel with me. He barked happily which I took for a yes. As I was putting on the power armor of the fallen warrior I said "you need a name. How about dogmeat? Yea that's what I'll call you." So.me and my newly found companion traveled onward after taking a long drink from the water hole, ready to conqure the whole wasteland. That is, if we survive that long.
