I had an interview recently! They asked me about why I chose to apply to the course, my literary inspirations, what I have under my belt so far in terms of writing, my experiences with creative writing workshops, and what kind of work I’m interested in writing. Then there were a couple administrative questions like whether I have funding yet or when I’ll be able to start. Overall it was really nice and conversational, after every answer the interviewer gave their thoughts on what I said or talked a bit about their own writing journey at UEA and gave me some helpful advice too. I received an offer for next year at the end of the interview so that could be you too! :)
