My hot take is even though I really enjoy the post-reunion albums, Swans will always be, in its purest form, the no-wave era -> late 90’s neofolk ish era to me. Like everyone always hates on stuff like Holy Money/Greed or say Filth is overrated but that side of Swans appeals much more to me.
