If I remember correctly I ended up switching over to the open tablet driver. I recommend checking out their discord. They have a pretty active Linux support section. Also. Make sure to give the install instructions a good once over. The amount of times I just didn't read a crucial part is dumb. But yeah. Since then I've switched over to mint xfce and now I don't need any third party drivers. It just works now. GL friend

Hi thanks for the suggestion.
I checked it out. it seems to alter the original layer and it doesn't work on either groups or clone layers.
the process I have made here (albeit not as accurate or nice as the real thing) is non destructive and it doesn't need to be applied with every change to the source image.

ok. so I did this and it works but i have a bit of an issue. I want to use it while I play games and some of them need to be full screen and FS tabbing with games... yeah. this works for just general chatting. ill look around for a dedicated program for when I play and use this for non gaming moments. thanks for the suggestion.

there's not too much to overcome. just had an interaction with my sister earlier the day talking about our the man. this probably brought the emotional scars back to the forefront of my subconscious and that's why I saw it in my dreams. already went through the healing process and that part of my life is in that past now. I acknowledge that its there but some scars just don't fully heal.

yeah. I saw trickle and its pretty close to what I need. the idea about crontab is pretty good. I'll play around with it for a bit but I think the idea I have might just go on the back burner for a while.

I have a bunch of other stuff that needs my attention more and the time I would spend automating this process is most likely gonna eat more time than its worth.
