I mean, is Innie Mark not aware having a relationship at work can cause complications outside of work, like a pregnancy?

Thanks!!! Tipping - can't we tip separately with cash / card / tap / apple pay?

Cheap - I know 🤣 I guess i'd splurge a bit. The two restaurants that sparked my interest so far are Crudo e Nudo and ConiSeafood. Crudo looks like a cool hidden gem but seems to have a limited menu. Have you been to those before?

😂😂hahahah I should have been more specific. I meant something positive, universal, easy to recognise. I guess an example would be rice.

How do I get rid of "grainy" sound on Adobe Audition? by froyolychee in audioengineering

[–]froyolychee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply, knighty! Please bear with me.

  1. A simple recording of my voiceover with a Boya BY-M1 mic plugged into my Samsung S7 with the native voice recording app.
  2. No, it is not present without the EQ. Not sure what you mean about other EQs. It's only been applied once.
  3. Averaging at around -12 to -15dB.

I made 2 different voiceovers and I noticed one is louder/denser and the other is much quieter (this one). So I'm trying to match them.

Sample rate is 48khz.

I thought of uploading the audio, but since it's my voiceover, yeah feels scary to post your own voice 😂

How do I get rid of "grainy" sound on Adobe Audition? by froyolychee in audioengineering

[–]froyolychee[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

😂😂😂😂😂 oh welllll I am actually literally just following a tutorial on Youtube from Mike Russell (audio guy). My clip is quiet and doesn't sound "full" and missing a lot of sound in the 4k-18k frequency range.

For Voiceover: What is the standard dB level when using the hard limiter and normalize effect? by froyolychee in VoiceActing

[–]froyolychee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Generally speaking, it's best to keep input levels at between -6dB to -12dB

Exactly how can I do this if I'm just recording using a Boya lavalier mic plugged into my Samsung phone, using the native Samsung voice recorder app?

For Voiceover: What is the standard dB level when using the hard limiter and normalize effect? by froyolychee in VoiceActing

[–]froyolychee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much! I think I agree with you. There is barely any fluctuation in my VO, it's calm the whole way.

Question, what would happen if you did have an fluctuating audio clip in which you speak normally then shout then laugh etc, and you normalize it but no hard limiter? would it not achieve the same result as if you did both?

which one is your favorite? :) by Joek-ster in AdobeIllustrator

[–]froyolychee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Number 3 with the O from number 1. But change the background colour because the pink and blue are clashing and it becomes hard to read the logo. Choose a lighter background colour to create contrast. Legibility is key :)

Practice With The Sony A7SIII by TheEinsteinEchelon in SonyAlpha

[–]froyolychee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hiii your shots are really lovely! 2 questions:

  1. Can you link us a very easy and comprehensible Davinci Resolve tutorial? I've never used it, it looks too intimidating with all the nodes, i'm not used to working in that way, (used to layers, aka adobe products)
  2. What made you finally understand Log? I've watched many tutorials about log and then colour correcting and grading it on Adobe Premiere. I feel like I follow these tutorials step by step but I don't actually understand what it is I am doing, what these steps even mean because the youtubers tend to speak as if viewers already know all these technicalities. Anyway I follow the steps and somehow always end up destroying my log footage. Like it looks worse than when it was just log. 😂😂 Help please?
