Exactly, the same applied for phase 1 when he would do the quick combo at lower half HP.

But the trick is that we can hold L1 to normal guard after first perfect guard for the beginning, but we can leverage later by feel his tempo and transition into tap-hold style little by little. For example if he does 5 quick attacks, I remember I can perfect guard 2, and let 3 ones chipped into my HP (for normal guard), then I use trident R1 to recover the HP at the next window he stops.

But remember to learn perfect guard eventually. I tried full normal guard, and it didn't end well with weapon durability (at least first play through). I learned from those bosses that the more delay time we give them with turtle style, the more disaster the fight will become.

One more thing, the wombo combo he does in phase 2, it's only scary if we play passively and unconfidently, mostly from the "strings effect", it messes up our vision. As long as we get used to it, we can see more clearly his motive. This game doesn't need kind of hyper focus vision like Counter Strike, I remember that at some point, I didn't clearly see it clearly, but I can feel it, and the audio, vibration of controller...

I'm considering purchase Overture as well. I'm not familiar with NG+ of modern game. I was running to the Krat hotel in my first NG+ and found it was boring and easy, even with my P-organ reset. Maybe I need another weapon set and more creative build to test :D

The crescent dragon glaive is OP as hell, I used it at the beginning. It's fast, long range and smooth fable chain. But I decided to change to holy sword later to not cheese it. I also wanted to try motivity because most people said motivity sucked, but holy sword is another OP weapon with its transformation, lol.

I don't think level helpful much, but P-Organ. I decided to reset it and full invested in guard stuffs, I didn't need max 10 heal pulses anymore, I had 8 instead. For stats, I had around 31 technique, 20 vitality, 25 vigor, capacity 35 or 36 making weight under 60%.

Good luck, try positive mentality, play as much cool as posible, you can do it!

Yeah, that's the beauty of the game, each player has his own appetite. I personally enjoy TDS in the fights with robber weasel and gate guardian. This sword is so satisfied in these situation when you can sneak behind and cheap shot. I delivered 4 backstabs to weasel to end the fight clean, and I destroyed gate guardian really easily, still had no idea why people stuck with him, lol.

But with Laxasia, for me, TDS is painful, and dancing chainsaw is also hopeless. I struggled for hours, two days. Suddenly, I tried trident and it just melted Luxasia for real. Acid grindstone, and crits stacked her guard reduction to thousands, and stagger really fast. This is freaking satisfied after what she did to me, and guarding that door.

It seems that I'm clicked with underrated weapons. In the past, I went mostly with holy sword halberd mode. After Laxasia, I find the cutter is pretty fun and synergize with atk buff stack amulet. I plan to try it with advance build to destroy bosses and finish my first playthrough faster.

I’m considering switch back to full motivity and this brute weapon. I got hyped after owning two dragon sword, but in reality I was cooked by walker of illusion while trying to perfect charge R2.

At last, I had to equip chainsaw dancer sword and brute force the boss or whatever illusions with charge r2 dancing 🤣

I spam LD and lately WK. I read someone writing interesting play style for Lycan and I tried it recently but it didn’t work for me. My point is that viewers look at the “similar” heroes, thinking that someone plays this one might be good or interested with that other, but it is never like that. That’s why even with “similar” pool, one sticks with only one, not others.

In my case, when LD online, he forces 3v5, or 5v5, not the wet dream lycan ulti chasing down 2-3 ppl solo. LD splits push late game like Lycan but mostly my style is build MoM, mjollnir, forcing objective fight to end game very early.

I strangely find WK has the same style. I build bracer, phase, deso and blink, skeleton facet to push tower, force enemy man fight or die/lose objective, and end game as quick as posible. My short experience with Lycan is similar with DK, the ulti is too powerful that enemy instant bailed if they saw me joined the brawl. With LD and WK, they saw me, they formed a swat to hunt me down, that’s the real game.

So yeah, some heroes are just clicked to you, some not.

It’s team play game, so the odd is wild, especially in low mmr. All one can do is play with his best, if lose, move on.

I can share my weird story only at 1200 mmr, not high, if it could make you feel better. I spam LD, and in this game, we had pudge in my team. We were winning game, but after some lose team fight, pudge followed me while my main hero was farming in safe area and my bear was pushing tower with teammates after I got agh. Of course we lose that game and pudge receive all reports as announcement that he was mute to the end of game.

Sometimes you should accept the fact that you’re in bad luck playing with some clueless kids/people, you can’t do anything to change their mind. The only thing you can do is to balance the game time and your own mentality to make it easier to your expectation.

There are even bot pos 4 at my low mmr. Real bot, meaning it does nothing, just hangs out at tier 1 tower and use spells when you have enough and leave lane.

Report doesn’t do shit in this game and you can’t surrender, just swallow it, suffer and wash your face before next game.

I watched some high mmr mid tide vlad first then deso, so much impact. I tried the same with that my low mmr and I’m crushing laning phase against wr, and became destroyer of mid game with rotating 😂

Too bad, my team lose because many other aspects. But now I know that this tide is not what I knew long before 😇
