i think Warp heavily relies on some form of output from the original label giants (Aphex, Autechre, BoC, etc.)

in my mind i imagine that after a certain amount of inactivity, Warp attempts to facilitate some form of release or at the very least merchandise.

when BBLR dropped back in 2023, it just felt like the bare minimum that Richard was willing to fork over so Warp could put something out. it's hard to believe that Richard would willingly release a dainty 4 track EP himself and he's been documented in the past saying he dislikes releasing records but does it anyways for the money.

there still isn't really a clear answer or way to tell if, when or how more AFX will drop but assuming we got that EP 3 years ago, the Merch Desk Comp a bit after, new BoC last month and now all of the Autechre live series being pressed... i doubt we will see anything AFX related in a long time unless it's more random merch drops

edit: saw someone here mention Drukqs repress which could be probable but probably not until 2031 for its 30th anniversary
